Change Is Good

Like a million plus bloggers before me, sorry for not posting in such a long time. If you can’t get enough of me, stalk me follow me on Twitter! It has been a very busy time of volunteering, networking, learning and family/personal commitments, reading, exploring, organizing, planning, and dreaming (productively). In addition, I’ve also crammed in an obsessive amount of emails, Foursquare check-ins, apps, books, seminars, and to-do lists. And between an iPhone, Nook Tablet, 2 Zunes, GPS, & a laptop, I have made charging mobile devices an integral part of my lifestyle.

For longer than one might expect, I have been thinking a lot about how to best re-brand this site and re-activate the blog. Since the URL is my first and last name, there is obviously a lot at stake here. Mostly this site has focused on the intersection of current arguably recent events, PR, and social media. While I am passionate about these three things, I am also passionate about a lot more, too.

Brace yourselves expect some toying around and changes. If I am going to blog more often, posts may be shorter and less condensed. I would prefer to encourage more conversation here rather than post more articles that feel like essays or reflection pieces.

There are a lot of exciting things happening behind the scenes and I can’t wait to announce them throughout the year. You’ll learn all about it here first! By the way, I people are always a priority for me. If you haven’t been in touch lately, say hello :-)

A Brief List of Things I’ve Been Up To Lately Instead of Blogging (In No Particular Order):

  • Major lifestyle/health improvements
  • Changed jobs
  • New car!
  • Finished decorating apartment
  • Good times with lots of new friends
  • 3 very long-term, volunteer involvements
  • Traveled to new places, such as the mountain in the triangle (who knew!?)
  • Read books
  • Watched tons of documentaries

Change is good – just ask Rafiki!

DID YOU KNOW? The Lion King came out in 1994. Babies born that year are now old enough to buy cigarettes!
