In recent years, the green movement has swiftly snowballed into a gigantic force in our lives. Industry organizations, production studios, actors, and cinemas are all working to achieve a greener profile, but the industry as a whole remains very toxic. As part of a project for Professor Vic Costello’s COM 495 Great Ideas: Senior Capstone course, this public service announcement is component of a team project involving fellow seniors Jenn Montrose and Erin Silva.
The public service announcement encourages film/cinema majors and the rest of Hollywood to go green. We wanted to incorporate our media skills into the project and utilize the power of the internet to spread our message.
